Overview
Investment Policy
The sub-fund is managed on a discretionary basis andinvests primarily in fixed-income instruments. Fixed-income instruments account for at least 80% of the sub-fund’s net assets. The sub-fund may invest up to 20% of its net assets in cash or cash equivalents. There are no restrictions regarding geographic regions or other specific economic or industrial sectors or niches. The investment manager’s decisions are discretionary in nature and reflect his expectations and strategic insight. As a result, the asset allocation may vary from time to time.
Target Audience
The subfund is suitable for retail and institutional investors who view an investment fund as an easy way to participate in developments in the financial markets. It is also suitable for more experienced investors with an investment horizon of at least 3 years.
Investment Objective
The sub-fund’s objective isto provide itsshareholders with attractive long-term returns. This objective is achieved by investing the sub-fund’s assets primarily in fixed-income instruments, as well as in cash or other monetary instruments and derivatives. The sub-fund invests in a diversified portfolio.

Michaël De Man, CFA
Portfolio Manager – Bonds
Michaël De Man earned a Master’s degree in Economic Sciences from Ghent University in 2005. He then began his career as a bond specialist at a major Belgian bank. In late 2015, Michaël joined the investment team at Econopolis, where he once again focuses on bond strategy and also heads the fund department. He has been CEO of Econopolis Wealth Management NV since 2021.
Maxim Gilis, CFA
Portfolio Manager – Bonds
Maxim Gilis earned a Master’s degree in Applied Economic Sciences from the University of Antwerp in 2015. He then earned an additional Master’s degree in Finance from the Antwerp Management School. In the summer of 2016, Maxim joined the Econopolis team, where he is currently co-responsible for selecting bonds for the funds.

You should also be aware of currency risk. You may receive payments in a currency other than the reference currency, so the final return you receive will depend on the exchange rate between the two currencies. This risk is not taken into account in the risk indicator used in the key information document. The sub-fund may also be exposed to other risk factors not included in the summary risk indicator. Because this product is not protected against future market performance, you may lose all or part of your investment. If we are unable to pay you what is due to you, you may lose your entire investment.
