Overview
Investment Policy
The sub-fund invests primarily in a geographically and sectorally diversified portfolio of corporate stocks, including both stocks of companies operating in developed markets—with a maximum of 10% allocated to these markets (Europe, the United States of America, and Japan)—and stocks of companies operating in emerging markets. Of the selected companies, at least 80% capitalize on long-term trends, specifically: agriculture and food, energy, commodities, ICT (information and communication technologies), and activities that capitalize on the growth, aging, and urbanization of the global population.
The sub-fund has no benchmark and is actively managed. The investment portfolio manager has a certain degree of discretion in constructing the sub-fund’s portfolio in accordance with the investment objectives and investment policy. To a limited extent, the sub-fund may also invest up to 10% of its portfolio in money market instruments, units of collective investment schemes, derivatives, deposits, and cash equivalents. The sub-fund may also invest in financial derivatives, including options, futures, and swaps, etc. These transactions may be conducted for hedging purposes as well as to achieve the sub-fund’s investment objectives. The use of such instruments does not, in and of itself, increase the sub-fund’s risk profile.
Target Audience
The sub-fund is suitable for retail and institutional investors who view an investment fund as an easy way to participate in developments in the financial markets. It is also suitable for more experienced investors who wish to achieve specific investment objectives with an investment horizon of more than 5 years.
Investment Objective
The sub-fund’s primary objective is to seek maximum growth of the invested capital, mainly through investments in global equities, while ensuring that shareholders subject to corporate income tax benefit from attractive dividends that are deductible from their definitively taxed income.
